Our brief:
We were approached to design, develop and lead a critical programme to prepare Tower Hamlets Adult Social Care Teams and Services for CQC inspection, collaborating with Directors, Senior Management, Principal Social Worker, and teams.
Action we took:
We established strong governance and a structured delivery mechanism, fostering a culture of connectivity and information sharing. We directed the development of Tower Hamlets first 'self-assessment', ensuring key communications and data aligned with the self-assessment narrative, whilst validating strengths and addressing areas for improvement. We also managed the programme budget and led a recruitment drive to secure additional supporting roles. Additionally, we organized an all-staff event for over 300 employees, coordinating speakers and ensuring effective key message dissemination.
Outcomes delivered:
We ensured Tower Hamlets was well-prepared for its first CQC inspection, with a clear understanding of its strengths and key actions to address risks and areas for development - captured within a robust 'Self-assessment' IR1 document. The programme established a solid foundation for ongoing improvements and mitigated potential risks in advance of the inspection.
